Research Scientist Intern, Code Generation (PhD) (London)

This internship is based in London, UK.

Responsibilities:

• Develop AI scientists and coding agents using recursive self-improvement techniques.
• Analyze and enhance the efficiency, scalability, and stability of deployed algorithms.
• Conduct state-of-the-art research in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
• Collaborate with researchers and communicate research plans and results.
• Contribute to research applicable to Meta product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or obtained a Ph.D. in relevant fields such as Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
• Experience with programming languages like Python, C++, or Java.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Research experience in algorithms for sequential decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intent to return to degree program after internship.
• Track record of significant results in research.
• Experience in ML/AI research and building systems based on machine learning methods.
