Research Scientist Intern, Alignment - Brain and AI (PhD) (Paris)

This internship is based in Paris, France and lasts between 12 to 24 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop novel reinforcement learning, natural language, and computer vision algorithms.
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of models.
• Conduct research to advance machine learning and AI technologies.
• Collaborate with researchers and communicate findings.
• Contribute to research applicable to Meta product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like Pytorch or Tensorflow.
• Research experience in algorithms for sequential decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intent to return to degree program after the internship.
• Experience in large scale algorithms applied to neural time series.
• Demonstrated software engineering experience.
