Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to advance intelligent machine technology.
  • Develop novel speech algorithms using deep learning on large datasets.
  • Contribute to research applicable to Meta's product development.
  • Analyze and enhance the efficiency of deployed systems.
  • Collaborate with team members from prototyping to production.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or obtaining a PhD in Computer Science, AI, NLP, or related field.
  • Research experience in machine learning, deep learning, and speech technology.
  • Experience with training deep neural networks for speech tasks.
  • Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Must have work authorization in the country of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Track record of results through grants, fellowships, or publications.
  • Experience with speech LLMs and handling complex data.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
  • Intent to return to a degree program after the internship.
