Research Scientist Intern, AI Research Multi-modal Post-Training (PhD)

This internship is based in Menlo Park, CA, with opportunities to work on generative AI, deep learning, and multi-modal data understanding.

Compensation:

$7,650/month to $12,134/month + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Perform research to advance the science and technology of generative AI.
• Enable learning the semantics of data at scale (images, video, text, audio, and other modalities).
• Improve and propose new methods for post-training foundation models.
• Collaborate with researchers and communicate research plans and results.
• Publish research results applicable to Meta product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in a relevant technical field.
• Experience in Python or related programming languages.
• Experience building systems based on machine learning and/or deep learning methods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intent to return to a degree program after the internship.
• Experience with Generative AI and proven track record of significant results.
