Research Scientist Intern, AI Core Machine Learning (PhD)

This internship is based in Sunnyvale, CA and lasts between 12 to 24 weeks.

Compensation:

$7,650/month to $12,134/month + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Conduct state-of-the-art research to advance the science and technology of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
• Develop novel algorithms and corresponding systems, leveraging various AI and ML techniques.
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of deployed algorithms.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers across varied disciplines.
• Publish research results and contribute to product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in relevant fields such as Machine Learning, AI, or Computer Science.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks like Pytorch or Tensorflow.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience in research and building systems based on machine learning methods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intent to return to degree program after the internship.
• Proven track record of significant research results.
• Demonstrated software engineering experience.
• Experience manipulating and analyzing complex data for large-scale training.
