Research Scientist Intern, AI Core Machine Learning

This internship is based in Paris, France and lasts between twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop novel state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and systems using deep learning techniques.
  • Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of deployed algorithms.
  • Conduct research to advance machine learning and AI technologies.
  • Collaborate with researchers and cross-functional partners.
  • Publish research results applicable to Meta product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or obtaining a Master's degree in relevant fields.
  • Work authorization in the country of employment.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Research experience in algorithms for sequential decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intent to return to degree program after the internship.
  • Proven track record of significant results in research.
  • Experience in ML/AI research, particularly in information retrieval or generative approaches.
