Compensation:

$7,650/month to $12,134/month + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply new methods for adaptive experimentation, including Bayesian optimization.
  • Synthesize insights from academic literature to enhance Meta’s products.
  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers across teams.
  • Communicate technical topics effectively to diverse audiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Research experience in Bayesian optimization and probabilistic modeling.
  • Proficient in Python and PyTorch.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Track record of significant research contributions, such as publications or patents.
  • Experience with open-source projects and academic dissemination.
  • Knowledge of transformers and diffusion model architectures.
