Research Scientist Intern, Adaptive Experimentation (PhD)

Compensation:
$7,650/month to $12,134/month + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply new methods for adaptive experimentation, including Bayesian optimization.
- Synthesize insights from academic literature to enhance Meta’s products.
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers across teams.
- Communicate technical topics effectively to diverse audiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related fields.
- Research experience in Bayesian optimization and probabilistic modeling.
- Proficient in Python and PyTorch.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Track record of significant research contributions, such as publications or patents.
- Experience with open-source projects and academic dissemination.
- Knowledge of transformers and diffusion model architectures.
