Research Scientist Intern, 3D Computer Vision and Generative AI (PhD)

This internship is based in Zurich, Switzerland and lasts between 18 to 24 weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop new agentic methods for Spatial AI that leverage multiple LLMs/VLMs to answer natural language spatial queries.
  • Present the outcomes of research findings as papers in top tier conferences in the area of CV and Machine Learning.
  • Collaborate with and support other researchers across various disciplines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of research experience in Generative AI, Agentic AI or Visual Language Models.
  • Programming experience in Python and hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch.
  • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.
  • Proven track record in publishing papers in Machine Learning and/or Computer Vision conferences.
  • Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration.
