Research Intern, AI Systems and Machine Learning (PhD)

This internship focuses on advancing machine learning systems and infrastructures.

Compensation:

$7,650/month to $12,134/month + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to advance machine learning systems and infrastructures.
• Contribute to innovations in scalable machine learning systems and AI architectures.
• Analyze and improve efficiency and scalability of algorithms.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers across disciplines.
• Publish research results applicable to Meta product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ph.D. candidate in Machine Learning, Systems, AI, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Work authorization in the country of employment.
• Experience with Python, C++, C, or related languages.
• Experience in real-system implementations (e.g., GPU, NPU).
• Experience building systems based on machine learning or deep learning methods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intent to return to degree program after internship.
• Track record of significant research results.
• Software engineering experience through internships or contributions.
• Analytical problem-solving using quantitative approaches.
• Experience working in a team environment.
