Compensation:

$184,000/year to $257,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of research engineers and scientists on LLM technologies.
  • Drive strategy and execution of research initiatives focused on improving LLM response quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research breakthroughs into scalable products.
  • Develop new algorithms and systems for LLM post-training and evaluation.
  • Stay updated on advancements in AI and apply them to Meta’s products.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience managing technical teams.
  • 8+ years of experience in research and development in NLP, computer vision, or generative AI.
  • Experience in LLM post-training and optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in building LLM foundation models.
  • Ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows.
