Compensation:

$170,000/year to $236,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver design projects of large and/or ambiguous scope across Instagram's product ecosystem.
  • Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our users.
  • Design flows and experiences that simplify complex actions into usable interfaces.
  • Innovate with AI to create new capabilities and improve personalization.
  • Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Instagram products.
  • Mentor and provide feedback to designers and the broader product team.
  • Oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of product design experience with demonstrated impact on consumer products.
  • A portfolio that shows end-to-end ownership of complex product experiences.
  • Expertise in advanced prototyping techniques.
  • Comfort with data to inform and validate design decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership in non-product dimensions that positively impact the work environment.
  • Experience integrating AI tools to optimize workflows.
