Compensation:

$170,000/year to $240,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers developing complex consumer hardware devices.
  • Collaborate with recruiting staff to expand the team.
  • Develop comprehensive plans for prioritizing technical and resourcing challenges.
  • Regularly assess employee performance and foster effective collaboration.
  • Support engineer career development through tailored projects.
  • Travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%) to support builds.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • 8+ years of experience shipping consumer products.
  • 3+ years of team management experience.
  • Experience leading hardware teams to ship consumer devices.
  • Proven experience collaborating with Asian contract manufacturers.
  • Skilled in tackling ambiguous issues and providing strategic direction.
  • Proficient in mechanical design and simulation tools.
