Network Production Engineer, Intern

This internship is based in Menlo Park, CA.
Compensation:
$7,313/month to $11,293/month + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain multi-vendor, multi-protocol datacenter and backbone networks.
- Define and develop optimized network monitoring and automation systems.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers on production systems supporting billions of users.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Experience with computer networks and UNIX, TCP/IP fundamentals.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python and C++ preferred).
- Ability to learn new concepts around network design and management.
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and ISIS.
- Intent to return to full-time degree program after the internship.
- Experience working cross-functionally.
