Hardware Technical Program Manager, VR Optics

This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, with additional locations in Redmond, WA and Seattle, WA.

Compensation:

$134,000/year to $196,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of optical components and module assemblies for VR HMD systems.
• Manage projects with suppliers and partners, ensuring timely deliverables.
• Evaluate suppliers to meet product requirements and establish a scalable supply chain strategy.
• Communicate effectively across teams and manage project schedules.
• Travel domestically and internationally for supplier visits.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Optics, Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a technical program manager.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in optical components and manufacturing.
• Background in regulated industries such as medical devices.
