Engineering Manager, Performance & Capacity Engineering - Capacity Planning Optimization

This role is based in Bellevue, WA with additional locations in Menlo Park, CA and New York, NY.

Compensation:

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead capacity planning for all Meta products, focusing on efficient scaling of server and data center resources.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing engineering team, overseeing career development.
  • Assess team performance and maximize conditions for success.
  • Identify capacity-related issues and implement solutions across teams.
  • Drive technical discussions and influence design processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in people management.
  • Experience with distributed systems and infrastructure planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Success in capacity planning for cloud environments.
  • Experience with Operations Research and mathematical optimization.
