Embedded Software & Firmware, Engineering Manager

This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, with additional locations including Bellevue, WA, and Burlingame, CA.

Compensation:

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Engage in discussions about firmware development and the supporting software stack.
• Build a collaborative and inclusive team environment focused on delivering outcomes.
• Collaborate across teams to define and build software components and customer experiences.
• Adapt quickly to new information and re-prioritize as needed.
• Evolve team strategy and deliver towards tactical goals.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MS or BS in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years experience in developing and shipping firmware for consumer electronics.
• 2+ years of experience in directly managing and leading teams.
• Experience with building roadmaps and scaling teams.
• Experience working with silicon vendor provided packages and solutions.
• Experience working with remote teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with camera stack, BSP, and wireless solutions.
