Data Scientist, Technical Lead - Infrastructure Data Center (IDC)

This role is based in Bellevue, WA, with responsibilities including defining technical strategy for data science initiatives, leading AI and Machine Learning projects, and acting as a technical authority within the IDC organization.

Compensation:

$253,000 to $314,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the foremost technical authority and individual contributor for Data Science within the IDC organization.
  • Lead the development and execution of technical solutions for high-priority IDC initiatives.
  • Represent IDC Data Science in technical discussions with cross-functional partners.
  • Drive innovation in Data Science, Engineering, and analytics tailored to Data Center challenges.
  • Translate complex technical work into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Mentor and guide other Data Scientists and Engineers.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams throughout the data science solution lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Science or related fields.
  • Exceptional technical background in Data Science and Machine Learning.
  • Experience in Data Center, Infrastructure, or Cloud domains.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Expertise in programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
  • B.S. or M.S. in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
