Data Scientist, Finance

This position is based in Menlo Park, CA.

Compensation:

$177,000/year to $247,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Lead data science projects in partnership with cross-functional teams to inform product investment decisions.
• Enhance data science practices at Meta, including driving best practices and mentoring other data scientists.
• Build frameworks to analyze business implications and create accurate forecasts.
• Navigate complex cross-functional situations and evaluate statistical analyses.
• Influence financial and product direction through presentations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data science or quantitative analysis.
• 1+ years of experience as a technical lead.
• Proven collaboration and project leading skills.
• Experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), and statistical software (e.g., R).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Data Science or a quantitative field.
• Experience in infrastructure and capacity domains.
