UX Researcher III, Google Pay

This role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Responsibilities:

• Design and conduct research (e.g., foundational, generative, evaluative) to define new opportunities and influence strategy across the product cycle.
• Use a mixed-methods approach, applying techniques such as ethnographic field studies and usability testing.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to translate insights into product concepts and frameworks.
• Synthesize insights and develop actionable recommendations to influence design and product decisions.
• Uphold ethical and responsible innovation.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in an applied research setting.

Preferred qualifications:

• 4 years of experience within UX or design research.
• Experience with qualitative research methods.
• Ability to work collaboratively with excellent communication skills.
