Responsibilities:

  • Dive into complex systems and provide great storytelling to build cross-functional and leadership alignment.
  • Bring a strategic and systems/framework design mindset to solve at scale and across Google.
  • Work with a collaborative team of designers, researchers, content strategists, engineers, and product managers focused on making the payment experience seamless and relevant for users in India.
  • Navigate and lead through ambiguity while partnering with driven product managers and engineering leads motivated to deliver value to our users and partners.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
  • Experience collecting and synthesizing data related to user needs through foundational, exploratory, and evaluative research methods.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
  • Experience designing and implementing experiments to evaluate usability, performance, and user value of tools.
  • Ability to advocate research findings to stakeholders and leadership through reports and presentations.
  • Excellent interaction and visual design skills.
