This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation:

$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the high-level system design and implementation of scalable back-end logic and GenAI inference pipelines.
  • Design and implement foundational enabling infrastructure that supports long-term product stability and growth.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact, collaborating with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and UX teams.
  • Oversee the implementation of complex end-to-end features on AI surfaces.
  • Drive engineering best practices through code reviews and technical guidance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development, with 5 years in testing and launching software products.
  • 5 years of full stack development experience with languages such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++.
  • 3 years of experience in software design and architecture.
  • Experience in a leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with machine learning and working in an Ads or Search focused organization.
