This role is based in Sydney, NSW, Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Work with customers on their production deployments to resolve issues and achieve product readiness, availability, and scale.
- Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders to resolve technical deployment obstacles.
- Advocate for customer needs with internal teams to improve the product.
- Ensure 24-hour customer support as part of a global team.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Google Cloud's product technology and architectures.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in troubleshooting and advocating for customer's needs.
- Experience in writing and debugging code in Java, C, C++, Python, or Go.
- Experience with web technologies (e.g., HTTP, HTML, DNS, TCP).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in developing developer tools and troubleshooting network issues.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and Linux/Unix systems.
- Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
