This role is based in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer impact, manage escalations through effective diagnosis, trouble-shooting and resolution on VMware workloads on Google Cloud Platform products.
  • Collect and analyze technical troubleshooting evidence to diagnose and resolve VMware deployments on GCP.
  • Act as subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve technical deployment obstacles.
  • Interact with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to drive high-quality production and respond to outages.
  • Advocate for customer needs with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience in coding and enterprise cloud solutions.
  • Experience with VMware technologies and compute infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in VMware Professional or similar.
  • Experience in IaaS solutions and VMware ecosystem tools.
