Technical Program Manager II, Geospatial Network Infrastructure, Google Networking

Compensation:

$132,000-$189,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure vendor-provided terrestrial fiber routes are accurately represented in the internal fiber inventory system.
  • Model and validate fiber entrance paths into Google campuses.
  • Research and document vendor fiber routes for resilience.
  • Stitch together fiber assets to create accurate network paths.
  • Apply network principles to minimize single points of failure.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with geospatial network data and fiber route mapping.
  • Experience with ISP/OSP fiber optic network infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional projects.
  • Knowledge of optical communications networking.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
