Compensation:
$132,000-$189,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Ensure vendor-provided terrestrial fiber routes are accurately represented in the internal fiber inventory system.
- Model and validate fiber entrance paths into Google campuses.
- Research and document vendor fiber routes for resilience.
- Stitch together fiber assets to create accurate network paths.
- Apply network principles to minimize single points of failure.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management.
- Experience with geospatial network data and fiber route mapping.
- Experience with ISP/OSP fiber optic network infrastructure.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional projects.
- Knowledge of optical communications networking.
- Ability to travel as needed.
