Technical Program Manager, Data Center Construction and Design

This role is based in Reston, VA, or Austin, TX, with remote work options available.

Compensation:

$240,000-$334,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, construction, and capital project support for large-scale data center projects from concept to execution.
  • Develop and mentor teams of engineers and project managers.
  • Build trusted relationships with cross-functional leaders to navigate ambiguity and resolve misalignment.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure construction outcomes align with long-term organizational objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
  • 10 years of experience in program or project management within mission-critical facilities.
  • 8 years of experience with construction, spanning the entire life-cycle from programming through commissioning.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field.
  • Experience with data center environments and equipment.
  • Understanding of the start-up and commissioning processes.
