Technical Program Manager, Data Center Capacity Planning

Responsibilities:

  • Understand space and power management for data center environments.
  • Review and thoroughly understand Google's Network Architecture Standards.
  • Develop reporting and metrics related to data center infrastructure capacity planning.
  • Work closely with Google operations and engineering teams.
  • Create high-level project plans that identify resource needs and critical path.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in Capacity Planning.
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working on evaluating and designing data center infrastructure.
  • Experience in AutoCAD Drafting.
  • Ability to have a data-driven investigative approach to solve complex challenges.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
