Technical Program Manager, Applied AI, Google Cloud Platform

This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Drive mission critical horizontal programs across multiple products including quality/reliability codes and customer incubation.
• Collaborate with Software Developers, Product Managers, and cross-functional groups to drive software development, and manage technical dependencies across the stack.
• Define, iterate, and operationalize key metrics that will help achieve product goals and allow the team to prioritize efforts.
• Manage a collection of technical programs, drive a multi-quarter roadmap, and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.
• Drive alignment across teams, organizations, program areas to reach consensus on product direction, north-star metrics, developing feasibility, etc.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in program management.
• 10 years of experience in product, developing, operations, or technical consulting roles.
• Experience in cloud computing emerging technologies or a related technical field.

Preferred qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in a software program management role in cloud computing.
• 10 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• 7 years of experience managing cross-functional programs spanning technical and non-technical members.
• Experience executing product launch or go-to-market processes and launch execution.
• Experience in distributed systems.
• Experience with AI/ML and differentiation of AI model building versus traditional software builds.
