The US base salary range for this full-time position is $127,000 - $183,000 + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Position reports to the Google Public Sector office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Minimum qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 24 months of experience in a job offered or in a Strategic Cloud Engineer-related occupation.
• Experience in Python, Golang, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Cloud Formation; cloud infrastructure components; cloud systems design; networking principles; distributed systems; and Kubernetes and docker containers.

Responsibilities

• Develop solution architectures and implement cloud-based Infrastructure and Application modernization solutions.
• Collaborate with customers to design innovative Cloud-based technical architectures.
• Provide troubleshooting support and resolve technical challenges for customers.
• Guide the technical aspects of cloud solution implementations.
