Strategic Cloud Engineer, Google Public Sector

This role is based in Reston, VA.

Compensation:

$102,000-$145,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Execute the deployment of full-stack AI prototypes and production-ready applications.
• Act as a technical point of contact for customers during implementation.
• Work with AI/machine learning engineers to refine technical documentation.
• Create technical guides and reference architectures for public sector partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with client-side web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (Java, C++, Go, Python).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Associate Cloud Engineer.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and cloud security protocols.
• Familiarity with data processing workflows or machine learning model deployment.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
