Staff Software Engineer, SiteKit

This role is based in Zürich, Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the engineering leader of the SiteKit product, collaborating with extended workforce engineers and cross-functional partners.
- Follow AI trends and innovate SiteKit accordingly.
- Understand the dynamics of the Web Ecosystem and the needs of small creators.
- Collaborate with representatives of product areas to align the product with Google's needs.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 2 years of experience with CMS ecosystems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience with Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
