Staff Software Engineer, SiteKit

This role is based in Zürich, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the engineering leader of the SiteKit product, collaborating with extended workforce engineers and cross-functional partners.
• Follow AI trends and innovate SiteKit accordingly.
• Understand the dynamics of the Web Ecosystem and the needs of small creators.
• Collaborate with representatives of product areas to align the product with Google's needs.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• 2 years of experience with CMS ecosystems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience with Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
