Staff Software Engineer, Platform Infrastructure Engineering

This role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Responsibilities:

• Set the technical direction and strategy for Google's portfolio of machine management systems.
• Partner with Engineering Productivity and Software Release teams to align release processes and validations.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience architecting and developing large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with non-relational platforms and tools for large-scale data processing.
• Experience with Machine Management Systems at Google or other large hyperscalers.
