Staff Software Engineer, Google Pay

This role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Responsibilities:

• Lead teams of high-calibre Engineers focused on building end to end horizontal and vertical products.
• Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the engineering strategy and roadmap.
• Innovate and challenge assumptions to deliver the best solutions for merchants.
• Take end-to-end ownership for multiple aspects of the feature life-cycle.
• Develop and sustain a culture of engineering excellence.

Minimum qualifications:

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 8 years of experience, including technical management of software developers.
• 3 years of experience leading a team of engineers.
• Experience with design and architecture of distributed systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience building and leading high performance agile teams.
• Experience building consumer end-to-end products.
