This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of new features from concept to launch by writing code, authoring design documents, and providing feedback in design reviews.
  • Lead the design of GCS client software, focusing on creating a quality developer experience.
  • Define and lead the strategy for benchmarking, analysis, and performance optimization across all GCS clients.
  • Mentor other engineers in best practices for debugging and performance optimization.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 5 years of experience in testing and launching software products.
  • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with storage technologies.
  • Experience with AI/ML and investigative workloads.
  • Experience in building and maintaining infrastructure software in a distributed environment.
