Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack, YouTube Ads

This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation:

$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Optimize ad delivery, content, and presentation to ensure ads are personalized and relevant.
• Manage technical initiatives to improve advertiser value and user experience.
• Collaborate with product management, user experience, and engineering teams.
• Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for business growth.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• Experience in C++ and SQL.
• Experience in infrastructure improvements.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 5 years of experience with full stack development.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Go, C++, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
