Staff Software Engineer, Defense and Consulting Engineering

This position is located in Reston, VA or New York, NY.

Compensation:

$207,000-$300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and implementation of solutions for malware reverse engineering at scale.
• Drive engineering, operational, and project execution excellence.
• Establish strategic partnerships with stakeholders to define product vision and technology roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Promote leveraging AI in engineering practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience with full stack development (Java, Python, GO, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
