This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.
Compensation:
CAD 150,000-154,000/year plus bonus and equity.
Responsibilities:
- Write product or system development code.
- Contribute to existing documentation and adapt content based on updates and user feedback.
- Design, build, and iterate on Android-stack software projects.
- Maintain strong communication with cross-functional partners to ensure project alignment.
- Utilize debugging skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a distributed system environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with full stack development using Java or Kotlin.
- 2 years of experience with Android application development.
- Experience in computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience leveraging AI development tools.
