Staff Software Developer, Android XR System Apps

This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.

Compensation:

CAD 204,000-209,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Set technical direction and participate in the design and development of user experiences for XR devices.
• Design, prototype, build, and launch new user experiences.
• Guide systems designs across mobile and XR apps.
• Ensure high-quality launches and assist with complex issue triage.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience in Kotlin, Java, or Swift.
• 5 years of experience in iOS or Android application development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related technical field.
• Experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience in mobile app development and performance optimization.
