Staff Software Developer, Android Extended Reality System Apps

This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.

Compensation:

CAD 204,000-209,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Set technical direction and design next-generation UI for XR devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and launch user experiences.
• Guide system designs and ensure high-quality launches.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience in Kotlin, Java, or Swift.
• 5 years of experience in iOS or Android application development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in technical leadership roles and mobile app development.
