Compensation:

$192,000-$278,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

About the job:

As a Staff Product Data Scientist, you will provide quantitative support and strategic insights to enhance Google's payment systems. You will utilize Generative AI tools for data exploration and storytelling, define key performance indicators, and collaborate with various teams to improve user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and solve ambiguous, high-stakes problems, transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Develop metrics across user interactions within payment flows.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, product management, or analytics.
  • Experience with data analysis and managing cross-functional projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with R, SQL, or similar analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
