$183,000-$271,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

About the role:

As a Staff Data Scientist, you will provide quantitative support and strategic insights to the Merchant Shopping Organization, collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers to enhance the Shopping Graph.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor junior data scientists and ensure project outcomes deliver measurable business impact.
  • Consult with Engineering and Product Management leads to provide data-driven perspectives on product direction.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify opportunities for improving the Shopping Graph.
  • Design and implement analyses to measure the impact of Shopping Graph data on shopping experiences.
  • Communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and 10 years of relevant experience or 8 years with a Master's degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field and 12 years of experience.
