Compensation:

$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead understanding of retrieval and ranking ML systems, collaborating with engineers to enhance product growth.
  • Analyze systems to identify opportunities while managing research agendas and delivering insights to leadership.
  • Build expertise in retrieval and ranking systems, advocating for necessary changes and driving cross-functional alignment.
  • Contribute as an individual contributor and as a Technical Lead for a small team of data scientists.
  • Manage ambiguous data science problems and leverage new technology for significant advancements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field or 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with analytics, coding (Python, R, SQL), and statistical analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience or 8 years with a PhD.
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning and Large Language Model techniques.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
