About the job:
As a Software Test Engineer, you will write scripts to automate testing and create tools for developers. You will work with a large codebase to identify issues and enhance the quality of Google's products.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize or develop automation tools or scripts to improve product and engineering health.
- Develop test plans and conduct reviews with engineers.
- Define test frameworks and reporting functions.
- Improve or create test infrastructure to enhance efficiency.
- Participate in product design reviews with stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, and debugging.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- 3 years of experience in specialized testing.
- Experience with automated fleet management and hardware development.
