Software Engineering Manager, Merchant Shopping, Loyalty and Deals

This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation:

$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Manage two engineering teams, providing mentorship and performance management.
• Own the technical roadmap for Loyalty and Deals, guiding architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with Product Management and UX to enhance user loyalty and merchant value.
• Oversee web-crawling and data extraction efforts from merchant websites.
• Implement validation frameworks to ensure data quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years in a people management role.
• Experience with web development crawling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience leading multiple engineering teams.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems or data ingestion pipelines.
