Compensation:

$197,000-$291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an established team of five software engineers and security engineers, overseeing their coaching and career development.
  • Define and execute the team's roadmap for securing Google's third-party dependencies.
  • Grow technical talent to develop innovative solutions for securing Open Source Software (OSS) dependencies.
  • Build partnerships with teams in Google's software supply chain Integrity program and collaborate with industry and academia.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, or Go.
  • 3 years of experience in software for data privacy or security.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • 2 years of experience in a people management role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a complex organization.
  • Experience in supply chain security issues or vulnerability management.
