Software Engineering Manager II, Storage, Google Distributed Cloud

This role involves overseeing the Object Storage team within the storage division, focusing on delivering secure and performant storage solutions across multiple platforms.

Compensation:

$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Drive the product roadmap for Google Distributed Cloud.
• Ensure architectural integrity of storage services.
• Foster a culture of innovation and manage team workflows.
• Mentor technical leads and promote a high-performing engineering culture.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8 years in software development.
• 3 years in technical leadership and managing large-scale infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Go programming.
