Software Engineering Manager II, Google Distributed Cloud

This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA or Kirkland, WA.

Compensation:

$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Manage project goals and contribute to product strategy.
• Lead a team across multiple locations and oversee deployment of large-scale projects.
• Review code and ensure best practices are followed.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience with programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python, Go).
• 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years in a people management role.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
• 10 years of experience in software development.
• Experience with Kubernetes and data center hardware.
