Compensation:

$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teams to optimize performance and reliability of systems.
  • Grow the engineering culture within the team.
  • Ensure high engineering quality and low latency for critical user journeys.
  • Work closely with leads in different locations and other Google Home teams.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 3 years of experience in technical leadership roles.
  • 2 years of experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in complex organizations and with storage migration.
