Compensation:
$197,000-$291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
About the job:
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will provide technical leadership, manage project goals, contribute to product strategy, and develop your team. You will oversee engineers across multiple teams and locations, managing a large product budget.
Responsibilities:
- Set and communicate team priorities that align with broader organizational goals.
- Provide feedback and coaching to team members on performance and development.
- Develop the technical direction and roadmap for your teams.
- Design and guide system designs, and write product development code.
- Review code from other engineers to ensure best practices.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 3 years in a technical leadership role.
- 2 years in a people management role.
- Experience with Java and SQL.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in a related field.
- Experience with data analysis tools.
- Full stack application design and troubleshooting experience.
