$197,000-$291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

About the job:

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will provide technical leadership, manage project goals, contribute to product strategy, and develop your team. You will oversee engineers across multiple teams and locations, managing a large product budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Set and communicate team priorities that align with broader organizational goals.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to team members on performance and development.
  • Develop the technical direction and roadmap for your teams.
  • Design and guide system designs, and write product development code.
  • Review code from other engineers to ensure best practices.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 3 years in a technical leadership role.
  • 2 years in a people management role.
  • Experience with Java and SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in a related field.
  • Experience with data analysis tools.
  • Full stack application design and troubleshooting experience.
