Software Engineering Manager, Google Enterprise Networking

This role is based in Austin, TX.

Compensation:

$197,000-$291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Lead the team technically by defining the architecture of systems for NextGEN network management.
• Ensure timely execution of deliverables by prioritizing team tasks.
• Collaborate with partner teams to meet requirements and implement changes.
• Identify scaling bottlenecks and optimize system performance.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years in a people management or team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 3 years of experience in a cross-functional organization.
• Knowledge of full stack development or networking.
