Software Engineering Manager, Google Cloud Storage (Mandarin, English)

This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to deliver a high-performance client experience for Google Cloud Storage.
• Partner with stakeholders to define and execute the technical strategy for Storage.
• Guide the team through complex architectural decisions and improve customer experience.
• Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing team of software engineers.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• 5 years of experience in testing and launching software products.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• 2 years of experience in a management role.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with storage technologies and managing large-scale systems.
• Experience in driving concurrent engineering projects.
• Ability to work with complex codebases.
